- Okidata sent me (Grant) one of these, so I've played with it.
- It does work, although it produces blank pages here and there
- (blank page problem should be fixed with version 2.1 of
- "oki4drv"), and it took 200 lines of scripting and a few hours to
- make it fit into LPD in a sensible way.<p>

- Now that I've got it working, it's an OK little printer,
- but there are so many quirks it's not clear that it's
- really a good choice. <p>

- The oki4linux package includes little datablobs to cat into the
- printer to make it standby after 8 minutes, or right away. I
- don't think they're working.<p>
